May 10, 2019, 7pm: Screening of MARTY'S SHADOW by Whitney Aronson and Dan Levy Dagerman based on the 2017 New York stage production by the August Strindberg Repertory Theater directed by Aronson. Starring Jimi Stanton as the bullied Gabriel, Jackie Maruschak as his overbearing mother, Ivette Dumeng as the love object, and James McKinney as the manly competition and Marty look-alike. Lo Dagerman and Nancy Pick, authors of The Writer and Refugee will lead the discussion of MARTY'S SHADOW at this Alliance francais event.
